I voted Yes because I believe the institutional reforms (both procedural and substantive) in the treaty were beneficial for all involved. The most important ones in my opinion were the incorporation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights into EU law, the insertion of a commitment to combating climate change and promoting sustainable development, the lowering of the limit on the number of MEPs in the European Parliament and the reduction in the number of commissioners.

I voted yes because I believe in European integration.
Lisbon was a good compromise between those who favoured further integration and those who didn't. It was also a good idea to bring the European Convention on Human Rights into European Law.
I voted no because the CIA paid me to.
