Cowan's comparison of Nigel farage and JM LePen

I think it was disgraceful of brian cowan to compare nigel farage with Jean marie lepen. Nigel farage is a democrat who is deeply unhappy with britains membership of the EU. He is entitled to his view. Can brian cowan or anyone else offer any evidence that he is down at JMLP's level.

Was he the one in green t-shirt asking for respect for Ireland? Or beside the guy in the silly hat?
A source or context would be nice, by the way

The YES side is still fighting the referendum campaign while smearing to left and right. Gay Mitchell was apoplectic on Matt Cooper's radio show. Perhaps the YES people have already started on the Lisbon 2 campaign.

I don't think JMLP is anything like the bogeyman his political opponents portray him to be.

But the Lefty press in France have convulsions anytime he points out uncomfortable Home Truths.

She was disgraceful. I was embarrassed that she was there representing my country.

I thought she was quite brilliant, rounding on the nutjobs and having a neat little go at Britain's imperial past.

Agreed. I enjoy a bit of brit-bashing as much as the next man but this was too phoney to be believable.

But those UKIP people have been less than complimentary towards the Irish many times in the past.
