    MEPs suppress sleaze report

And they want us to vote to give them more powers under Lisbon? I think not.

    MEPs keep 'fraud' report secret

The audit investigated the £100m spent annually on staff allowances
Euro MPs have decided not to publish a confidential audit allegedly revealing a series of abuses of staff allowances.
The report mentions no names but British MEP Chris Davies who leaked its details described it as "dynamite".

Labour MEP Eluned Morgan said the European Parliament's Budget Control Committee had been told it did not have the authority to reveal the report.

Ms Morgan told the BBC that she was asking Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering to publish the document.

If you google "European Parliament's Budget Control Committee" you'll see how out of control it is!

The politics.ie Europhiles will soon start posting that the reason the report wasn't published is that sure its "meaningless" and that "it was in the wrong font" and that the Parliament has no compotency in sleaze so it irrelevant , and a load of other weasel excuses like they did with the vote on respecting our referendum last week.

MEPs are a joke, like I said on another thread when it originally broke that the audit showed massive fraud, the MEPs should not be controlling themselves, an external auditor should publish yearly audits, or at the very least OLAF sould carry out all audits and investigate them making any discrepancies public.

MEPs do not want self regulation for industry why are they being hypocrites and allowing themselves to self regulate
    Inishowen Rocks!
