I saw a sprog recently in a complete spiderman outfit and few healt conscious eejits wearing masks while cycling, is anybody suggesting banning that, though? Presumably there is no hint that these are involuntary actions in those cases!

And while I might be banned from certain shops wearing one, I can freely walk down the street wearing a motorcycle helmet!

A pretty common sight here in Brum.

Such a ban will never happen in the UK I am certain of that, and from what I can see of Irish politics it won't happen there either.

Wonder if any of these bans have been challenged in the ECHR yet?

Not sure what their ruling would be on the matter.

Yeah I remember the week I spent in the Brum passing several streets and not seeing a woman without one which even though I am very accepting and open minded person did kind of freak me out (seeing a couple wouldn't but not seeing a woman without one was thing- if had seen just one girl in a hijab it wouldn't have been as big a deal).

It should have been be brought in to the EU as standard when the court sided with Belgium

Again I stress I have absolutely zero issue with any woman or man wearing a hijab!

No men are forced to wear a hijab. Probably millions of women are.

Which shows the law is being applied fairly.
