For the benefit of reader's, the "Pro-EU" faction that the OP delusionally referred to is an independent review body - mainly University professors - set up by the Norwegian government to review the operation of Norway's EEA agreement.

    To quote them:

The Committee was asked to review and examine Norway’s current form of association with the EU, not to consider alternative models.

    ...

The Committee was not asked to consider these alternatives, and has therefore not done so.

    ...

This means that the Committee has focused solely on the current form of association in its analyses and assessments. Any strengths and weaknesses identified are within the framework of current agreements.

    ...

The Committee’s mandate did not include making recommendations for revising or reforming the current form of association. Our main task therefore is to provide a research-based account and analysis of Norway’s current form of association with the EU.
It would appear that - for the OP - it isn't permissible for the Norwegians to review the operation of their EEA relationship at all without this being a "pro-EU" action.

OK then, what about Denmark? They have no particular natural resources, the country is a similar size to Ireland, and yet they have one of the healthiest economies in Europe.

It is the usual tricks by Stoltenberg & co. who have been at this for well over a decade. An "independent committee" set up by a government that produces conclusions that give the appearance of validating government policy by cherrypicking and misrepresenting the truth.

And the Irish are all drunks who love a good scrap.

Any other national stereotypes you'd like to promote?
