EU opens legal proceedings against Hungary

Good to see that the EU is standing by its principles and taking Hungary to task.

    I agree 100%.

It is good to see the EU stand up for democracy.

Strange. They weren't concerned that much about democracy in Ireland when they funded the YES side in Lisbon and asked that the main opposition figurehead be investigated by our government.

Did they fund the No Campaign, willingly ?

I can remember there being a decision by the Supreme Court concerning EU referenda, and the fact that only one side got funding.

Which democracy? Hungary's government was elected with 2/3 of the vote.
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.
