Britain as we know is out. Noonan said today if there was no financial transactional tax in the city of London it would harm our IFSC in Dublin.
This afternoon the Swedish FSA has come out and rejected the EU commissions plans on financial transactional taxes.
And now Luxembourg, from the Telegraph 30 minutes ago.
Jean-Claude Juncker says Luxembourg shouldn't introduce a "golden rule" requiring balanced budgets into its constitution.
He now says it goes against "the philosophy" of Luxembourg's constitution and claims that a "special law," if passed by a large majority, would do the trick.
We have a very protective constitution, what about us?
And finally the markets. Italian bonds over 7%. Euro area high 5 year borrowing today. All the indices fairly consisent losses since the agreement.
