My problem with these surveys --- I fully 110% support rights for the disabled, a member of my family has a disability --- is that what is my email address going to be used for? I get enough 'Viagra' adverts every day already! If the site clearly stated that any email addresses would not be sold on it would help!

I supplied my email address and I haven't received any spam as a result, so the website seems pretty trustworthy. Thanks to all who have signed it so far.

As I understand this, the petition demands stricter anti-discrimination laws throughout Europe. These are pointless and damaging laws which should be struck down, so I won't be signing the petition. I don't know the extent of your involvement with the disabled, but I suggest that a genuine contribution would mean a regular donation to a suitable charity and lobbying of your local businesses to provide suitable facilities and imaginative employment policies. Getting the EU involved is not going to help anyone.

    Thanks.
In fairness, nobody takes these online petitions seriously. I could write a script in 2 minutes that would give you 50k signatures.

There isn't even a visual confirmation routine.
