Anarchist gunned down by Greek Police

In the midst of mass working class struggle against austerity measures, 35 year-old anarchist Lambros Foundas was murdered by police on the morning of 10 March in Athens.

The police claims that he was a “terrorist” and that he was shot while trying to steal a car in the suburb of Dafni, south Athens, and that he was carrying firearms.

Fountas was one of the over 500 anarchists arrested at the Polytechnic riots of 1995 in Athens.

I have no idea what he was doing, but Im sure they didnt need to kill him. But dont address that point - a bit of off topic trolling is always more fun for the simple minded.

How would I know whether they needed to shoot him or not, was I there?, no, were you?

I will say if he was just delivering a pizza there would be no excuse for shooting him. I can be very clear on that, but if memory serves you are a little fuzzy on that point.

Police are saying Foundas shot first, was a known terrorist suspect and fingerprint evidence linked his accomplice to recent terrorist activity. But I'm sure you didn't know that Cael and presented both sides as fairly as you could. ekathimerini.com | Terrorist link in Dafni shootout

When did I say delivering pizza was a capital offense? Did you forget to take your tablets today?

You are offended at this but shooting dead an unarmed garda in his car in Limerick is okay?

Greece is in the middle of a civil war...

What do you mean by terrorist? You mean he was fighting for his class?

Anyway he was supposed to have been shot while attempting to steal a car...The claim that he fired first is news to me.

I never like to hear of anyone of any persuasion killed but terrorists deserve what is coming to them. Anarchists are like cockroaches: squash them whenever and wherever you can for the betterment of society.
