As posters will know I would be the first to look for faults in any FG representive but tonight Jim Higging was a credit to FG .

For what ever reason the OP is trying to state that Jim was drinking and disgraced himself I have to say that it is not true .

It pains me to say this but the op is a load of nonsense .
And has grandiose opinions. Does he live in a Volcano and own a white cat?

Cassandra where ever he lives and whatever cat he owns, I have to say that tonight he was not drunk and having met the man for the first time he was a gentleman .

I don't know why I am defending him here but I have to say that in all fairness it is wrong to say what the op stated .

I was an invited guest and I would love nothing better than to say that a FG MEP was drunk and disgraced him or her self but I cannot do that because it was not true .

The interview Higgins give Morning Ireland the day after getting re-elected was just fantastic. It was then I knew that this country was totally, absolutely and undoubtedly f**ked beyond rescue.

What did he say and have you got it, I'd love to hear it
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

You'll note I didn't categorically state he was drinking as I didn't witness him drinking, I was simply reporting his performance on the stage at the end of the evening.. where is the nonsense in my post?

I don't vote for him, but live and work in his area. He is an able and intelligent representative.

What happens at the end of a St Patrick's Night social evening should stay there.
