Why is it that the people who are most in favour of armies, and invasions....are the last people to actually sign up up....or to let their own kids sign up......?????
    WTTR and MrD011 like this.
Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

Mr Shatter said international intelligence-based threat assessments “all indicate an increased likelihood of terrorist organisations and insurgencies using chemical, biological or radiological agents against both military and civilian targets”. He added that “apart from possible international threats, there are also potential national threats”. He said “an attack . . . could inflict major casualties amongst security forces, emergency responders and unprotected civilians”.

Fianna Fáil justice spokesman Dara Calleary, supporting the motion, said “chemical weapons are a threat to the world and to Ireland, regardless of its neutrality. It would be criminal for us to decide to distance ourselves from any efforts to tackle this threat.” Army to take part in EU defence projects - The Irish Times - Wed, Sep 28, 2011
Now, how things would be different if our politicians heeded the warning from the year 2000:

House prices in our built up areas are among the highest in Europe even though we have one of the lowest population densities. Land for building-on has become a scarce resource in modern day Ireland. Are we mad! We have one of the least population/land densities in the world. Are we really lacking the abilities to solve this scandalous situation? This is happening because money is diverted from having children.

We can now control our ability to procreate. But as a society we do not seem to realise the awesome power that we have suddenly being given; we have not developed any matching policies/ethics; * we are rudderless! We are as leaderless as children who have suddenly got their hands on guns and live ammunition; the consequences without some outside control or a sudden awakening are catastrophic! Not quick, but slow and much more damaging in the long-term. Justice and Croagh Patrick
For our descendants of Civil War politicians; there was no need to worry because there was no visible threat from people with horns and waving a club or with waving an Armalite in one hand.

A returned Yank, when I was growing up, used to say that we were as far back as the god-damn Indians. But in reality we are as far back as the Stone Age.

So much for human advancement and education in this part of the world!
"No warning can save a people determined to grow suddenly rich." - Lord Overstone.
"hadn't met any Irish people that were afraid of anything" - Christine Lagarde. 2008.

An EU army is a natural evolution of Europes current integration, either people want it or not is a different matter.
This power is mine, this is my light. Be it in bright of day or black of night. I lay claim to all that falls within my sight, to take what I want, THAT IS MY RIGHT!

And yet they continue to allow people to come and live in Ireland they don't know a damn thing about . Bury their heads in the sand , more open borders more openess more immigration and then some day they turn around and say how did that happen how did we let terrorists in here
