We don't have 70 million Muslims in the EU. This is unchartered territory. Neither do we have a member state that - in international law (post-GFA) - is illegally occupying the territory of another EU member-state like Cyprus. Neither have we a member state denying a 20th century Holocaust (Armenian massacres). They are patently unsuited to EU membership. It would be like admitting a Holocaust-denying Germany. As such, it would be a gross act of hypocrisy if Liberal politicians were to invite into the EU, an unrepentent, genocidal state. It would make a mockery of their claims to be again 'the Far Right'.

The Turkish govt is currently in the process of constructing dams (such as the Illisu Dam) in the Kurdish Southeast, and forcibly expelling Kurds from towns like Hasankeyf to facilitate it. As such, Turkish EU membership was also constitute collaboration with ethnic-cleansing and Fascism.

So what you're basically saying is that Liberals are supporting Fascists.

Eastern Europe taken together isn't small though and is far larger both in size and population than Turkey. Now to be fair I think the Eastern European States taken as a whole would have been wealthier when they joined that Turkey is today, but Turkey is growing at a good rate and no one is saying it should join tomorrow, or at least not very many people.

Well the 2004 states are approximately the same in population-terms as Turkey actually.

Well that depends how you define "Fascism" e.g. Turkey is not anti-semitic. But they are colluding with a form of Holocaust-denial by excusing Turkish denial of the Armenian Holocaust. The number of Armenians killed was as many as the death-toll from Auschwitz (1.5 million). In that context, it is just as bad for Turkey to deny the Armenian Genocide as it would be for Germany to deny what happened in Auschwitz.

No, it refers to YOUR use of the word Fascism. You said in your post that Liberals were helping Fascists. I find that fairly unlikely.
