    Yes it is.

The preying Mantis is green in colour and after mating the female devours the male by slowly dismembering him bit by bit.

Nothing reminded me so much of this evil creature as the sight of our new EU president Rumpy Pumpy as he emerged in to the light of the TV cameras.

The face of evil is alway deceptive and smiling, even thoughtful at times and eternally reptilian especially in Rumpy Pumpys case.

As Rumpy Pumpy seduces his way around the corridors of power in the future watch for dismemebered bits of legislation and dismemberd legislatures as they fall to his mating embrace.

He is only doing what a lot of the yes voters, myself included, thought he was being appointed to do. Don't think at this stage he has any power other than as a chairman and none of this EU tax story is anything more than his stated opinion. But, if we want to act as a single entity on the global stage, to address global issues then these ideas sound reasonable to me. Sorry if that sounded a bit disjointed, its late.

We had exactly the same alarmist stories when Sarkozy was President - or, rather, when France held the rotating Presidency. Plus ca change...

As a convinced yes voter then you will be happy to underwrite and pay all taxes necessary
to fund a new European defence force and allow your kith and kin to be conscripted & die when its necessary for the EU to act as a single entity in ensuring that oil supplies are not forcefully disrupted or interfered with by either Russia or the USA.

Yes indeed acting as a single entity in the face of global problems has great advantages all right.

Evil Rumpy Pumpy just loves you and all the other yes voters who have launched his career of deception.

Sad alright, judging by the tone of some of the posters, poor souls suffering from 'mean world syndrome', I think they really want these fantasies to come true. They are drooling with anticipation of the joy and satisfaction they will get by typing 'told ya' in big red letters on P.ie. It will be their last defiant act before the life is crushed out of them by the jackbooted legions of the evil ................................... (insert your preferred nemesis here)

And above all they are profoundly ignorant, wilfully so.

I sometimes wonder if some of them aren't agent provocateurs, because if you really wanted to make it easier to slip genuinely oppressive stuff past the general public, a very good first step would be to have a chorus of hysterical imbeciles crying wolf at the harmless stuff.

Oh no! ..occult groups!..now that they have the devil on their side I am really starting to worry. Can't you see Rhonda that these conspiracy theories are an age old phenomena. It doesn't matter what group they are aimed at, it's a mechanism to divert blame for perceived injustices onto forces beyond your control. For all it's faults Wikipedia has a very good article on the history of it all and is well worth a read. Might help you sleep better. You will see that some clinical psychologists even have a name for the condition. To put your mind further at rest it even explains the origins of the bilderburg theory if you follow the links. Don't listen to the Pill and the Gunslinger and the like, their psychosis is obviously well advanced.

Conspiracy theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In all fairness Rhonda can you really imagine Arab sheiks, Jewish bankers, British aristocracy and American industrialists ect. conspiring together for years and years towards a common goal?
    Don't think so
