(The Times) - EU President frontrunner + Bilderberg group call for EU green tax

Herman Van Rompuy, front-runner for presidency, wants EU-wide tax - Times Online

It almost makes me sentimental for the days when conspiracy theories stayed as conspiract theories. When the Times of London starts discussing the recommendations of the previously secretive Bildergberg Group explicitly, you know your getting old.

What's next? RSVP on Facebook to Bohemian Grove meetings?

I can't say I'm surprised at the eu green tax. probably put on petrol imports as a sales tax hike. Hopefully the Tackamarks behind the motorway signs will direct us to the nearest cheapest petrol station

So much for transparency -first the selection process, now secretive high security meetings between politicians, royalty, banking families etc. Not surprised, but everyone with a heartbeat has been warned of the dangers of elitism in Europe. A welfare state indeed -doesn't that sound like a grand scheme -but what will happen to the middle-classes I wonder?

Already at least one thread on this.
"Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.

To be even contemplating a "green tax" in this country is insane.
We have got as much as we are going to get out of Europe; it is, now, time to leave!
