This is a brilliant family portrait of Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and his family with Obama. According to Zapatero, Spanish law allows him to prevent the Spanish media from running any photographs of his 16 and 13-year-old daughters Laura and Alba, so this pic is a rarity.

They look like a completely normal family and the ordinariness of this family would strike a chord with millions of Spaniards. Itr didn't seem to faze the Obamas either.

I agree and of course it wouldn't phase the Obamas. Not like his kids probably haven't smashed some expensive antique in the White House while having a temper tantrum.
