    Eddie's latest sales patter.

Must be flogging gold and commodities now. What a moronic leader of morons.

There is no convincing evidence we will be running out of oil.
There is no convincing evidence we are dangerously changing the climate.

Let the market allocate resources. That is the tried and proven method.

A coherent, sensible energy policy will make or break this country over the next decade, it will have effects far greater than the banking crisis

On that score you may be correct (though I think you underestimate other challenges).

Problem is you don't realise which side of that particular see-saw you are sitting.

Maybe I do know my position and facing challenges is what we need to do
Geckko I do have fun at your expense sometimes and you return the favour but open debate never achieved a negative result in all of human history.

    Neither did an open mind.

You need to start accepting that some of the things you claim as fact or evidence are naive, ill informed or just plain wrong.

I have made my choice and will promote it, I applaud anyone who does the same regardless of the choice they make and maybe they might convince me to join them. I remain open to new arguments about anything even West Ham United

To refuse to consider properly new information and revise your views is know as cognative dissonance, which leads to major errors in judgment.
