Can't see anything wrong with that even if you don't give a damn about the environment.

Red meat is very tough on humans lower bowels and eating less would be a good idea for everyone. I now only indulge twice a week and feel all the better for it

Most people apparently don't get enough fibre so I don't really see the connection. Its about healthy eating at the end of the day which benefits everyone including the tax-payer with the added benefit of helping the environemnt

I'd say it's more about Paul McCarthy being an arrogant, condescending wally than anything else.

"In related news...a man walking down O'Connell Street has heavily criticised Mr. McCarthy's claims."

Why on earth would anyone give two figs about what Paul McCarthy says about anything?

Personally, I don't think anyone does care what Paul McCarthy says. Or that irritating Paul Henson fella either. Pair of nobodies.

As for not eating meat a couple of days a week? Its a good idea.

Whilst I eat very little red meat, my first reaction is to remember that his late wife had a vegetarian food business so I 'm not inclined to listen to people with a vested interest.
Anyway, for a lot of my life , we observed the no meat on Fri rule so Mr mcCartney is a little late on that score.
I understand Mr McCartney has several homes, which if true, disqualifies him in my book, as a person entitled to preach on the environment.
Not to mention daughter Stella who belongs to branch of fashion industry, which depends upon making clothes obsolescent after a season.

    1. CH4 Gas belched from Ruminants at trace levels does not heat the planet to be even measurable to 0.01 degree Kelvin.

    2. No Evidence exists that the rise in CH4 Gas levels in the atmosphere is attributable to human activity.

Human activity derived CH4 gas emissions come mostly from the Northern Hemisphere but there is no lag in time in the rise of CH4 levels recorded at the poles. Therefore the rise in CH4 is of natural origins.

    3. McCartney owns a Vegetarian foods production company so any point regarding "Climate Change" is highly tendentious.

    4. In short: All Climate Change believers are fools rejoycing in their own ignorance.
Cowardice asks the question - is it safe? Expediency asks the question - is it politic?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular? But Conscience asks the question - is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular;but one must take it simply because it is right. -MLK
