Carbon Trading Scam In Big Trouble After Copenhagen Failure

Green billionaires take a hit as markets nosedive

Global warming con men hoping to bag windfall profits from the climate change scam are wincing today after carbon trading markets nose dived following the failure at Copenhagen to secure legally binding targets on restricting CO2 emissions.

Barclays Capital director Trevor Sikorski labeled the Copenhagen result “very disappointing” and said that the outlook for the global carbon market was bearish

Fines for burning on winter Spare the Air days

For the second winter in a row, Bay Area residents who burn wood, fire logs and pellets on high-pollution days run the risk of earning citations and fines from local air regulators.

The world is COOLING not warming says scientist Peter Taylor ... and we're not prepar

Like a magician who fools themselves but not audience, the Anthropomorphic Global Warming (AGW) lobby have identified the wrong problem and the wrong solution.

Global cooling threatens disaster for humanity in the developed and developing world alike, yet the media and the scientific consensus ignores this peril.

The Climategate controversy revolves around whether warming has been real and why it has not persisted – but it misses the point.

Cycles are involved, not short-term trends, and many respected scientists, especially those in Russia and China, think that a cooling cycle is coming.

clearly there are not enough places available in the gender studies departments anymore... the spillover are eager to take on these meaningless jobs, much as their lives...

I suspect it would be destroy it or set it back decades. People would more than likely throw the baby out with bath water and think it was alright to go back to the way we've always been, polluting as much as we want.
In some ways while I'm sceptical of AGW I find myself hoping I'm wrong for this very reason.
If man made global warming turned out to be fake that would be great. I think that if for any reason you are happy about AGW being real, you probably don't understand how big a problem it is. It would certainly make peak oil policy much simpler to make because then we could just start burning more coal as the oil runs out.

But then again if we're going to drasticly change the world, it should be for the right reasons, not just to sell carbon credits under the guise of being Green and saving the planet (again assuming man made climate change is real).
Carbon trading is not inherent to the AGW theory. It is simply corrupt vested interests trying to take advantage of a crisis.
"But do 'climategate' revelations justify the sceptics’ claims that this is “the final nail in the coffin” of global warming theory? Not at all. They damage the credibility of three or four scientists. They raise questions about the integrity of one or perhaps two out of several hundred lines of evidence."

All these things are big scams. Just because they're not in the media does not mean they are not scamming away.
