    The Swallows have arrived

Summer is on the way here in the Peoples Republic and we can look forward to the hearing twittering sounds from the swallows soaring above us.

Anyone see them elsewhere before today?

Vanity asks the question - is it popular? But Conscience asks the question - is it right?

Good to hear they are back but the 'twittering' never stopped, just that it was emanating from those weird un-feathered ( except for their nests) birds we call politicians.

Does any think there are a few more thrushes around than there have been for some years?

14th of April 2010 and my first sighting of swallows. 13th of April in '09.

They made too many nests on my house last year. They won't get away with the level of sh1t this year. !

Isn't it amazing how they time their arrival? I was just out in the garden and observed an unprecedented amount of insects this year flying around the place. The swallows won't go hungry!
