This man will be Chairman of the US Senate Committee on the Environment.

Listen carefully to him enumerate his credentials.

    "Deja vu all over again"

Super Typhoon Hagupit has exploded into mighty Category 5 storm with 175 mph winds and a central pressure of 905 mb, and is threatening the same portion of the Philippine Islands devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013.

The BBC on the 3rd on December claims 2014 was the hottest year on since 2011. Only 91 % of the year has elapsed when the claim was made. It a bit like telling a man of 75 that he had a great life and a happy death.

Marc Mallow UCD engineer and government advisor told the energy 5 workshop in my presence last Tuesday that all forms of storage of mains electricity were out of the question. He admitted under my questions that electric cars only transfer the emissions from the exhaust to the power station chimney but claimed that efficiencies in the e car did save emissions. Bit hard to fathom that one.

2014 on course to be one of hottest, possibly hottest, on record

Exceptional heat and flooding in many parts of the world

    • The UK's last winter in which 12 major Atlantic storms battered the country bringing nearly double the usual rainfall.
    • In September, parts of the Balkans received more than double the monthly rainfall and parts of Turkey were hit by four times the average.
    • The town of Guelmin in Morocco was swamped by more than a year's rain in just four days.
    • Western Japan saw the heaviest August rain since records began.
    • Parts of the western United States endured persistent drought (as we reported from Oklahoma last June, as did parts of China and Central and South America.
    • Tropical storms, on the other hand, totalled 72 which is less than the average of 89 judged by 1981-2010 figures. The North Atlantic, western North Pacific and northern Indian Ocean were among regions seeing slightly below-average cyclone activity.

It smacks of increasing desperation that every bit of "bad" weather is being ascribed by the alarmists to "globull warming". Floods, heatwaves, hurricanes etc. have been part and parcel of the earths climate since its inception 4 billion years ago. You would swear the likes of the hurricane season only started appearing in the late 70's if you were to believe some posters on here

Note who is being called "alarmist" here - the World Meteorological Organisation, an association of experts in the field of weather. If they cannot distinguish weather trends, then who can?

And the name calling is being done by an anonymous blogger who can never back up a single statement with evidence or verifiable facts.

Turbinator's uninformed opinions are as relevant as bottled flatulence.

The WMO are completely conflicted. It is the WMO who was and is behind the establishment of the IPCC.

How much has their funding and influence increased since Alarmism was turned into such political cash cow for the likes of Obama and Gore.

The WMO has built an impressive rack record in misinformation in support of their ideology

Who are the authors of the WMOs provisional statement on the Status of the Global Climate in 2014 . They are not listed.
