The sun activity (flares etc) is at a minimum right now. We have never observed this length of inactivity from the sun and our scientists do not know how long it will last.

NASA are predicting a solar maximum by december 2012 which may endanger all electronic equipment around and on the planet.

Ireland had the coldest winter in 50 (30) ? years last winter... So what the hell (pardon the pun)?

Boiling Hot Water Found in Frigid Arctic Sea

Many miles inside the Arctic Circle, scientists have found elusive vents of scalding liquid rising out of the seafloor at temperatures that are more than twice the boiling point of water.

“I wonder what's more powerful, scalding liquid rising
out of the seafloor plus massive underwater volcanoes,
or a 60-watt light bulb on my front porch?” asks reader
Kenneth Lund. “Doesn't make much sense to blame that
    light bulb!”

And about time too, I hope something similar is launched here. People need to be reminded that the unsustainable activities they engage in are causing climate chaos.

There are millions of electronic things on nearly every corner. Back here we have a special name for them. thermometers.

66f today like the last year, way below normal.

Did you ever hear of Sasquatch, down south they call him Big Foot. My carbon footprint is like his and about 40 times bigger than yours. I understand that some cars back there have only a 2 litre engine.

God Bless my wife, she bought me a remote starter so that I can get that 5.7 litre motor running even before I get out of bed. It would not be Christen to have my big fat ass freezing

We have remote starters here as well, we call them thieves, sometimes the seats get so warmed up they go on fire, especially the ones with 6 litre engines

Surely those knaves can be charged with the horrific crime of releasing poisonous carbon. Next time they go to shoot someone they had better buy a few carbon credits from the poles. They sell gas cheap. 15 billion euros per cloud is what Dingbat Gormley paid last year.

    hehehehohohohahaha.

Yeah but he is getting better advice now, the irish will soon get their own back on the poles and the yanks, we are going into the carbon credit market, there is money in muck and the slimier it seems, the better, roll on global warming, they tell me it makes the wind stronger

    Cow Backpacks Trap Methane Gas

Argentina has more than 55 million cows, making it a leading producer of beef. In the study, the scientists were surprised to discover that a standard 550-kg cow produces between 800 to 1,000 liters of emissions, including methane, each day.
