    em, global warming doesn't equal ACTUAL hotter temperatures all the time - the prediction for Ireland is for warmer but also wetter summers - the warmest may on record comment was made re the context of another extreme weather record - just like the Spanish heaviest rainfall for May record in fact...

    Yeah but that has been happening for years now. It is what we are famous for, the whole 'four seasons in one day'. I cannot remember the Irish weather not having seasonal variation, so is that really a new thing?
