media coverage:"Global warming" Vs DU !

whne compared with the GW issue the depleted uranium he hardly gets mentioned by comparison in the mainstream scientific media?

Could it be because its all propaganda by the same people who are responsible for contaminating the world's environment with Depleted Uranium but who also want to impose a global carbon tax?

<Mod>I've amended the title, as it looks bad to have a title so long that it has to continue into the first post. Short and descriptive, that's how we like our titles.</Mod>

Well let's look at it this way, it's a small world at the top e.g. media, military industrial complex etc and by the looks of what goes on, the masses are there to be exploited, taxed and, by the looks of D.U. poisoned and as with 9/11,7/7 War of Terror etc there's no shortage of useful idiots to enforce the official line.

Are you basing this on a theory that certain people want to make oil more expensive for their own gain?

Whether or not global warming is happening/will continue to happen/speed up /slow down and whether or not we are responsible for it, oil is running out and we need to reduce energy consumption and devleop alternative sources of energy.

If the "powers that be" wanted to impose carbon tax then it would have been done long ago.

If you look at the reality of the situation, there is no carbon tax. This is because the people in power (The depleted uranium bombers, i.e. Bush et al.) are part of the oil industry and do not want a carbon tax, because it may discourage the use of oil.

If anything, you have gotten the conspiracy the wrong way around.

Clinton strew the former Yugoslavaia with DU from which the fall-out is detectable in England. Will Al Gore present a Hollywood produced film about that?

Whatever the motive, if the media was paying half as much attention the depleted uranium issue as much as AGW it would be a lot harder even to have a war since it would be less likely to get anyone to go and be poisioned! If the media can make such a deal of one for political motives why can't it's ommssion to deal with the other be seen in the same light?
