were you not supposed to plug stuff out as well? like computers?
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

It's a real eye-opener for the kids. They can't think what to do with themselves. :P If it wasn't for batteries I'd probably have a mutiny on my hands. It really makes you realise how dependent on electricity we are. One of my kids thinks we should do this regularly to keep us on our toes re excess usage of energy.

Exellent stuff, imok. Shows that it's working.

I'm in darkness here and it really does, as your little one says, show how totally dependent we are on electricity.
