Plenty of other signage that is being kept on other buildings for similar reasons, so I see no issue with this remaining.
It's hardly the most attractive sign, but that isn't really the issue for many who want it gone.
It is not what I think.
It is what I know.
[1] Pope Benedicts alleged resignation is not valid because it contravenes canon law in vital aspects.
[2] The conclave that elected anti pope Bergoglio is also extremely dubious as to the credentials of certain cardinals who participated.
[3] Cardinal based papal conclaves have in the history of the catholic church previously elected several anti popes.
Pope Benedict , according to himself in his double talk so called "resignation speech" , and his official spokesperson Ganswein, thinks he can split the papacy into an active and passive component.
This is theologically erroneous and contravenes all previous catholic council laws that the papacy is strictly singular and never plural.
[Jorge Bergoglio , the anti pope using the name francis 1st, is neither a catholic or a Christian and has openly rejected Christs teaching on several matters including adultery in his publication Amoris Laetitae.]
THE CURRENT FACTS WITHIN THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THAT POPE BENEDICT XV1 HAS PRECIPITATED A CRISIS BUT REMAINS THE DE FACTO POPE OF THAT CHURCH.

For starters there are way too many people there... hot climate, famous only for coffee and making Bob Geldof a lord. Pirates!
They wanted to set up bad-ass socialist republics in the 1960s, and now they can't feed or employ everyone. What was it Burke said about you can try to level things up in a people but you can't make them equal?
Just like we have to emit X tonnes of CO2 by 2030 (or else), they should commit to population limits by 2030.
That's a pretty judgemental post. That only the Catholic church does good things that those of us who are not catholics who help people are haters?
As for this thread. The sign on the door is horrendous. I couldn't care less what it is about. Or about the religious aspect. Interestingly the most tacky place I ever was apart from Bray beach was Knock. Never saw so much plastic tat in my life. Plastic Marys and flashing Jesus hearts. Luminous statutes and rosaries of every type. Which reminds me, last week I lit a cancle in a very ancient church needing restoration. And gave each of the children a euro to put in the box to pay for the candle and make a wish. How's that Ellen for a worthy Catholic donation.
No.
He does not openly reject Christ's teaching.
He usually speaks from a prepared text and he's very careful with his words; very likely the English translation and the press release are prepared in advance.
He's very 'Church of Nice', and any God-fearing man will go bananes at what he comes out with. But when you study the words that are written down it's all so fuzzy that it's hard to actually condemn it; Amoris Laetitae is an example of that.
