No doubt the debunkers will try to write this off as fantasy, more fool them.

Wasn't there supposed to be a demo of something like this in Dublin a few months back that was postponed? I heard the guy behind it on the Last Word. It'd be incredible if something like this was proven to work.

Careful Champa- those who have been waiting excitedly with bated breath for peak-oil and the end of global capitalism will curse you for spoiling their dreams of a return to pre-industrial nirvana.

If it is true, then expect the inventors to be approached by oil companies or related businesses to be bought up and quietly parked away.

This is most amusing. The Australian "free energy" motor linked to seems to be much the same thing as Dublin company Steorn's Orbo motor. There are probably several other similar "inventions" drawing investors' interest in other places too.

Steorn's much-heralded demo -- in London last summer -- was a fiasco, and they haven't demonstrated anything since. Nevertheless, they seem to be in existence still, and still paying their employees. Where does the money come from?

'Perpetual motion' machines have been around for hundreds of years and created as much hype years ago as they do now. They nearly always seem to have a spinning wheel at their core.....

You cant get a patent for something which defies the laws of physics.

I don't know if this works, and am clueless when it comes to the science of fuel and energy. However, the day we become oil-independent will be on of the best days ever for humanity. Oil has been the cause of so many problems.
