Incinerators spark clash between Ahern and Green Party

    Well, well!
So Bertie is correcting the Gormless one's mathematics. It appears that we will be enjoying the benefits of four and not two incinerators after all! Now where have we seen this sort of force majeur before?

A fine mud flap is the flip-flop man. It's amazing what the greens can do so much better from within government, really, it is.

If Phil Hogan had put as much effort into getting more FG TDs elected as he put into making sure Senator JP Phelan was not elected, then he might be Minister for the Environment today.

When you cut out the spin from Phil, and Bertie's waffle on the detail (he is obviously confusing 400,000 Tonnes with four incinerators), you are left with a big fat non-story.

In any case, there are plenty of other threads about the ongoing misrepresentation of the facts on the incineration issue.

“When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.” Napoléon Bonaparte

This one is about Bertie contradicting Gormley and his reasoning (if that is even possible) behind doing so!
