Al Gore Nobel Prize and the Enviroment!

With Al gore winning the Nobel Pece prize today I have to wonder whats is really happening.

Firstly the Nobel peace prize? How does All gore promote peace around the world?

Secondly is this whole global thing one big con?

After All many people now predict All Gore may now make a run for the US presidency.

He also received around 750,000 UK Sterling pounds for wining the prize, what is he going to do with this money?

And who really beleives the world is about to collapse into this abyss of destruction of the enviroment?

Many experts say that the Polar Ice caps would mealt regardless as the world is still coming out of the last Ice age.

Many other experts also state that the sun is the reason for the earth heating up, and thats why we Now have global warming on Mars.

If you go back in History you will find totally different weather conditions throughout history. The Romans used to grow Grapes near the borders of Scotland, in vine yards.

Floods and adverse weather conditions are nothing new, throughout history we have always had them, the only difference now is the earth is more populated, we build on flood plains, and because of global communication and television we get to hear and see these things quickly and more often.

This summer was supposed to be the hotest on record, the experts said because of global warming. And yet it was one of the wettest because of global warming they now say. You cant have it both ways!

A few years ago it was the O Zone that was the big issue, and now we hardly hear about that because the ozone has repaird itself!

Whislt I agree that all the chemicals and gasses into thre atmosphere can not be any good for the enviroment, I do not think they are the cause and concern of everything, I would be more worried about China building a power station every 10 days, or the Amazon and other rain forests having 1000`s of Acres dissapearing every day.

I really honestly think the whole Enviroment issue is just one big scam and scaremongering, and like anything else someone will be making either political gain or a lott of money out of it!

I've recently discovered that the environment doesn't even exist. It's just a fabrication by eco-Marxists.

What kind of idiot are you? The ozone layer repaired itself because we phased out CFCs.

Idiot and Moron? Hmm intreasting replies!

Yes the Ozone repaird itself, so the World is capable of repairing itself. Yes we got rid of cfc`s but did every country in the world stop using them?

Eitherway it always seems to be one thing after the other, ozone, environment, whats next Meteorite protection?

as for the power station point, the Atmosphere has had crap pumped into it ever since the industrial revolution.

We have had crap weather always, so i honestly think the whole thing is one big scam.

I am more worried about Rainforrest destruction that china building power stations every 10 days.

well since you're so annoyed by political correctness you should appreciate some blunt talking.

CFCs were phased out on a global basis, every country got rid of them.

With regard to the atmosphere, we've never been pumping out so much CO2 as we do now, and deforestation adds to the problem by releasing more CO2.

Wait a minute - why am I bothering to tell you this? Feck off and look up an encyclopedia and stop clogging up this website with stupid threads.

Already being discussed here and this thread adds little to it.
