Gas refinery and high pressure pipeline for Dalkey/south dublin?

Dalkey meeting told of drilling concerns - The Irish Times - Wed, Jan 25, 2012

having read the above article in the irish times today I am greatly heartened that the people of Dalkey will shortly have a gas pipeline and refinery built in their midst if gas is found. the use of an onshore refinery will save on cost for the developers providence and also there is no risk from running a high pressure unrefined gas through a residential area to serve the refinery. the people of south dublin will be delighted that their gas supply is secured for the future and the will not have to import gas from far off places like mayo. if there only was shale gas to be extracted in foxrock they would be energy independent. there are plenty of sites available at low cost due top the property price collapse for the onshore refinery

I am sure that no person would stand in the way of such an essential development in the national interest and is great to see the local community coming together to support this project last night. well done dalkey! - why should the people of North Mayo be the only patriots when it comes to our gas resource...or more correctly a multinationals gas resource

Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

In fairness many of the crusties protesting in mayo are from Dublin anyway so it will be an easier commute.

And I am sure that people all over dublin will be equally concerned by the equally high pressure pipelines used in their pharmaceutical plants, semiconductor plants, power plants etc.

    What ?

Dalkey could become the oil and gas capital of Ireland........

    Another Aberdeen or Texas.

Plenty of cash-rich oil personnel to buy their price-inflated homes.

Some people have all the luck !!!!
