ah you messed up my linked posts.

Of course that;s possible dave. All i'm talking about is the work done in the city centre, north and south
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Yeah I agree I thought they were pointless, but I haven't travelled that way in the morning in ages as I live in Sandyford as well but I was talking to a friend of mine that works in vodafone who travels that way for work in the morning and he said that it's taken about 15 minutes off his drive to work, I wish they could turn them flashing yellow after rush hour though because outside of 8-10 in the morning they're really not needed!

As a cyclist (not a Green party supporter though), I can say they were perfect.

The road outside my apartment building was resurfaced in the last month. It had been patched up over the years. Last year water got between the patches and in the freeze did major damage. The new surface is designed to minimise freezing damage. Local authorities are expecting a serious freeze in January and are trying to get the roads to a standard that will limit the damage.
Seems like some water got into your head.

You are some waffler Tommy. Maybe someone from the council told you this? If so and if you believed them, well all I am saying is don't have any children.

I had no issue with it to be honest. I have proper tyres on my bike for the odd bump here and there.

Local authorities have to find someway to spend our tax money. Its always interesting to see many small jobs started in Dublin City in the last few months of the year. Very noticable cracked kerbs getting replaced as presumably those jobs can be started & finished within the year. If we give them more money they'll just find more ways of wasting it.
