Country to be battered by storm and floods on Thursday, are we prepared ?

Frightening stuff on Met Éireann - The Irish Meteorological Service Online and RTE site. Have preparations for a rough time kicked in ? Have street drains been cleared ? Sandbags at the ready for vulnerable areas ? Warnings issued about unnecessary travel ? Or will we all wait and crib to Joe on Friday ?

"Ok, look, please try to understand, it doesn't have anything to do with the economics of Austria, FFS."
