And mannequins now taking Irish jobs !

A business I know of was fined around €300 (for littering) by Fingal County Council when they put up an unattended sign.

Should they have just got a mannequin wearing a hi-vis jacket to hold it as is the case outside the St. Stephens Green CarPark?

Plenty of scope here for the unemployed if they get in quick. Before the Poles and Nigerians all arrive and take these jobs as well.

That's a fine jacket. Might take a walk later.

Good to see them adhering to health and safety regulations - I think those are safety boots too.

A mannequin holding a sign is an unattended sign.

Its attended by a mannequin is'nt it?
Are you saying mannequins are'nt real people?

Why do you need to attend signs anyway, are they likely to be lonely?

If you throw an empty wrapper on the ground, it's littering. If you lie on the ground holding the empty wrapper, its okay
