    You mean our so-called canine teeth?

    Human beings have much more in common with herbivores than we do with carnivores. We can tolerate amounts of meat, sure - small amounts - but we are not "built" to consume much of it - and we need none, thus making it a moral issue.

    Quite a good observation, in fact most scientists agree that the diet of humans was nearly entirely based on meat at one stage.
