Flowers in the Botanic gardens Dublin this morning. Socratese in the background. Hundreds of school children with their teachers were in the gardens this morning some of them artistically painting copies of the lovely flowers.

Tourists, Birds, Ducks, and squirrels, aplenty.

The cafe serves up lovely cakes and meals. Now sleep is calling but I'm resisting. Candles in the stove gently warming this room.

Residents of the Botanic gardens Dublin. There are many sculptures to be seen in amongst the trees and spaces.

Not yet. But will soon. The place is developing into a national treasure!

These two ducks were heads down asleep together as I crept up on them stealthily, as I thought, but I'll need more practise to catch them dreaming.

Bring your children to the Botanic gardens Dublin, it's free and a magical experience.

These cute creatures are classed as vermin. They can bite which might have some nasty consequences.
