I'll be first to raise a glass when hare-coursing is banned -it is a cruel and pointless "sport" - but that video is an elaborate and cruel hoax and must raise questions about the sanity of those involved - whatever it takes - and is doing the cause of those wishing to get coursing banned no favours whatsover.
There appears to be something remarkably similar to a wire beside the hare from 2.55-3m.

The first time I saw the video, I was horrified.
The second time I saw it with a more critical eye, and saw the wire, and I was even more horrified. The people behind this have done themselves and their cause a real disservice, no matter how noble they believe their cause to be. It should be called something like "how to f- up a set up". Talk about shooting themselves in the foot!

Mate, its clearly evident to me.
We don't need someone to stick an arrow on it for it to be true, nor should you rely solely on someone painting an arrow on it to make up your own mind.
Look at it, 2:54-3m, to the right of the hares head.
No, I haven't a notion of painting an arrow. Don't ask me to. Look at it yourself.

The activists have been casting slurs on greyhound people for many years, they have been carrying out activities like this for many years also.
How many greyhounds have suffered at the hands of these activists who we know will stop at nothing to stop interaction between humans and animals.

You wont see it because you dont want to see it, I consider this as you condoning this sort of activity by friends of the green party who are hell bent on destroying rural Ireland.
Its a sad state of affairs when political parties condone this type of violence against animals.
I'm no fan of hare coursing at all - it does, however, look like that animal is tethered, and what appears to be a line, wire or similar to the right of his head. If that is actually the case it's appalling.
