Will this be another Gormley style investigation? We already have two templates:

    1. The 'investigation' that is held in secret behind closed doors away from eyes like the banking 'inquiry'
    2. The 'investigation' that is restricted from investigating the really crucial issue like the DDDA 'inquiry'. Gormley refused to allow it investigate the relationships between the directors of Anglo, the DDDA and what went on with politicians and massive loan authorisations.

If there's anything that affects FF/Greens in this newest 'investigation' you can bet Gormley will be be producing another whitewash.

Complete distraction. The greens have little credability left. They are creating an issue where none exist. They are using some rezonings as a pretext to wrap themselves in 'good planning' garb.

I suspect DLR will be one of the councils investigated.

Announcing it at the convention demonstrates it's political nature and purpose.

Has he learned from FF? Distributing press releases and documents to journalists before announcing items in the Dail - where items of this nature should be announced first?

The guy who believes in jobs for the boys believes he should start an investigation into jobs for the boys.

    Gormley is a joke.

When did he get this wonderful idea--of course it is a distraction--he ranks very high on the cynical register---so much for the principles that the Greens have been preaching for years---hope they manage to tweet themselves into oblivion.
