Green alarmism - what drives it and how should democratic electorates respond

Beware thos with committed green agendas. Those who "buy into" green myths. Those on forums such as this one are transparently partial and devious, but do little harm in the scheme of things with their one vote.

Beware those "scientists" who are committed green activists. CLimategate reveals are clear disdain for honesty.

In line with the halo associated with green consumerism, people act more altruistically after mere exposure to green than conventional products. However, people act less altruistically and are more likely to cheat and steal after purchasing green products as opposed to conventional products.

Mods, you can't allow this tripe to stay open?
Actual morality is doing what is right regardless of what you're told. Religious morality is doing what you're told, regardless of if it's right.

Already discussed here when the study was actually published five (!) months ago.

I remember at the time thinking their sample of "Fifty-nine students (32 female) from the University of Toronto" that "volunteered for a 5-minute survey." was probably a fine example of sampling bias.

that and the "Ninety undergraduate students (56 female) from the University of Toronto volunteered for this experiment in exchange for five Canadian Dollar" - were these some of the same of the previous sample?

Our little sample here is more anecdote than science. But surpisingly it reveals the self proclaimed virtuous luvvies as supreme liars.

Are you "denying the science"? OMG!

You guys have an opportunity to dispell the label of denier by using more positive debating tactics (discussing the actual science rather than political tirades) and what is the first thing you do?

I have Asked repeatedly if you can think of an alternative description for this kind of behaviour other than denier but not one person has even attempted to provide one.

You need to stop being a bleatinng hypocritical liar.

This thread is about the propensity of those who advance a "green" ethos to lie and cheat and steal more than the wider population.

While your very presence on this thread is relevant to that point in itself, your faecal prose is not.
