Usual call from the anti democratic environmental green lobby who want to silence and censor all criticism.

One thing the green cultists cannot stand is an honest examination and expose of their deceptions and propaganda.

Hence the usual cry for censorship.

The only real way to respond is to vote them out.

After all the lies exposed from the IPCC and the whole clutch of discredited scientists it is surprising that the AGW cultists and warmists still have the nerve to show themselves in public.

I suppose when all you have in life to cling to is an absurd belief in man made climate change it is hard to abandon it despite the overwhelming evidence.

In a few more years these green cultists will fortunately be consigned to the dustbin of historys oddballs.

Regrettably the financial havoc wreaked on the back of the AGWs/warmist environmental lies is going to take longer to fix.

Transporting goods is more expensive here now and all goods prices must reflect the higher energy costs of transportation. Well done, anti-clever.
We have a budget deficit that is very big. There are two ways to reduce it, cut spending and raise taxes. Guess which of these two strategies the Carbon tax falls into?

There is a current fad surrounding all this green environmental stuff. The Carbon tax is a way for the government to claw in money while looking good to the electorate. It is no more complicated than this.

So by making electricity / energy cost of doing business in Ireland (which is already one of the highest in the world) even more expensive then we can easily regain our competitivness internationally. Clever.

Today is World Water Day, not a sign of a thread about it though from our "Oh so concerned" green friends of the environment. OIl, Oil and more Oil, is all they are concerned with nowadays.

I joined the Greens in the early 80's in Germany, they made a lot of sense then, now they are complete rubbish if not downright dangerous to the environment.

You may or may not have noticed, but nobody with environmental inclinations really bothers to post threads on environmental issues on p.ie. This is a good place for troll-hunting, but unless ritualised sneering is your idea of debate, it's not somewhere you can debate environmental issues.

You can call it what you like but I am getting very sick of the continuous arrogance of these people who use green issues for their own political agendas.

No, I make this with reference only to Tombo, who is a troll. I can't explain why the rest of you people still believe your opinions are valid.

I'm not sure why that's supposed to even vaguely relevant to what you originally said, or to my response.

Do you get equally sick of people who use free-market issues for their own political agendas?

I am as a lot of people are, suffering from climate change fatigue, it has been done to death by now. I no longer care if the Earth fries.
