Snow on the French Mediterranean coast!!! So much for the theory/religion of AGW!

Weather News: Freak Storm Brings Snow To The Beach - The Weather Network

Didn't the now disgraced Prof. Phil Jones predict that 'our children' would likely never see snow! I know he tried to bluff his way out of it by claiming that some other member of the CRU might have said it etc....

    Meanwhile (in the real world)...

"Several people were found sliding down hills on makeshift snowboards. Students are also enjoying a snow day."

    You couldn't make it up!

I'm sure that local members of the Al Gore Worship cult will be around soon to point out that "weather is not climate".

So we can take it that if somewhere else is unusually warm next week it will prove AGW correct by your bizarre logic.

Seriously, is there any other intelligent person besides Ibis, who has not woken up to this money spinner yet.

I know there is a shower of snowflakes who would believe anything on this site, ignore those fools. Is there any otherwise sane people who believe we are sweltering

Nah - sure you all know that at this stage. Even Dan knows that the day to day fluctuations of the market, while interesting, aren't all that meaningful in themselves.

    Still, just in case...

Climate: the meteorological conditions, including temperature, precipitation, and wind, that characteristically prevail in a particular region.

Weather: the state of the atmosphere at a given time and place, with respect to variables such as temperature, moisture, wind velocity, and barometric pressure.

Tis me sure enough. I get more relaxed as Obama's poll numbers drop. If the Irish, on the verge of outright destitution, wish to pay carbon taxes on their heating oil, sure who am I to stop them.

They seem to be having an effect. -10c is pretty chilly.

Hopefully if ye pay more ye can get it down to -15 next winter

Why wait till next week, there are plenty of places around the world that are unusually warm right now.

The last week in February and first week in March are typically the period for peak ice coverage on Lake Superior.

But satellite photographs taken over the past week show virtually no ice on the open portions of the lake. The small amount of drifting pack ice outside the Twin Ports can be seen in the photos, as can frozen-over Chequamegon Bay and Thunder Bay.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory in Ann Arbor, Mich., reported Tuesday that Lake Superior’s ice cover was in the lowest 25th percentile of its long-term average

Of course, when your a denier, a freak snow storm at one of the coldest parts of the year is all the evidence that you need.
Actual morality is doing what is right regardless of what you're told. Religious morality is doing what you're told, regardless of if it's right.

It's currently warm enough in the undersea permafrost to look so much less perma that large amounts of naturally stored methane (itself a powerful greenhouse gas) are failing to remain be stored under it.

This is not good news, for deniers or anyone else.
