You have to pity the kind of people who buy into conspiracy theories. I find the following to be the saddest words on the internet: "Re: connection between Bilderberg puppet lady gaga and viral outbreak in ukraine "

People think that a cold spell in the winter means that it disproves global warming, when global warming takes into account worldwide temperatures all year.
Even a colder than average winter will not bring the averages down, thats how serious it is.

Sceptics seem to imagine that the lines on graphs are smoothed averages which always obey trends. When you look at graphs you see that they are quite shaky.
"But do 'climategate' revelations justify the sceptics’ claims that this is “the final nail in the coffin” of global warming theory? Not at all. They damage the credibility of three or four scientists. They raise questions about the integrity of one or perhaps two out of several hundred lines of evidence."

Goodness me - but according to Destiny's Soldier (and the right-wing blogosphere) they all use the same (dodgy, obviously) datasets...

They're all faked anyway...unless one of them says a particular year is cooler than the others. That means the cooler one is reliable.

If they ever did manage to get the CRU dataset removed they'll be shocked to learn it's one of the cooler datasets out there.

The heading is "ever" then it turns out to be 31 years.

7 out of 31 isn't that high (not even Champions league place in football terms)
