Tesco are now selling bird seed, dried meal worms and suet balls. Not sure about their prices but it's convenient for anyone who looking to help the birds over the last of the frosty weather.

Will put out dog hair, lord knows there's enough of it. The crows and jackdaws will probably start dropping sticks down the chimney soon.

I moved address about two months ago, and have only recently managed to get the birds to feed. They seem to have their known food locations memorised, and are wary of any new spots.

One other hazard that occurs to me... While you won't mind cleaning up your own balcony after the birds, you might find that your neighbours below are unhappy about bird droppings on their railings and all that.

It's bitter cold out there tonight folks and the weather forecast is for -5 or -6. Start the week on a high by putting out a little pick-me-up for our friends in the morning.
