May be some men could learn a little bit about courting from the graceful Rouge Gorge.

I don't need to have house sparrows, I was just wondering why we don't have them, as there are so many other birds.

My husband thinks he heard an owl today. They have nested in our trees for the last three years. (Short eared owl.)

Ivy on a backwall will attract them.

They are entertaining, especially when you are eating outside and they get tempted in ever so slowly.

We have loads of ivy. On all trees, in the shrubs. So much that I collected it for feeding the sheep. Pulled it of from the tree trunks. Now there's the old ivys left with berries, so intertwined that I can't harvest it. Lots of it.

Bitter cold here this morning, the feathered ones could do with a bit extra.

Crushed nuts, seeds and half a crumbled brown loaf went out this morning with some bacon fat.

Along with the regulars, saw a black cap in our garden yesterday.
