Dont have it? I thought so.
Course I don''t have it - I've no idea whether it is or not!

My post was not directed at your science or lack of it - you are a scientist I presume? - but at the incredible sense of arrogance in the post I quoted. Typically enough, I guess, in the usual sense of "with me or agin me", you now seem to have me pegged as a member of the draconian-carbon-tax-imposing-Evil-Ones.

Frankly I know little about the matter. From your manner I suspect you don't either. But. as with many on the anti- side of the Lisbon "debate" earlier this year, your raw, braying "I know best" manner will do little to persuade anyone of your argument's soundness. Coming here to debate is one thing; coming here to vent is another.

You are mixing yourself up. You came here and spoke for the people. You tried to undermine me and the threads I post.

It boils down to something really simple, if you dont like the threads or topics, then dont click on them. There are plenty of other posters interested in the topics who do not post in the threads but give positive rep for the information. Now of course this is not the reason I posted the threads as I also get some neg reps but I feel the agenda is important enough to highlight.

You came along here without any substance and you expected substance back? In fact why dont you put your wits on the table now and maybe people will be less arrogant to you.

IN fairness aside from all of the global warming, climate change, climategate, NWO or whatever. The people are docile. Far too docile. They might just need a bit of arrogance to wake up - hell they might not even vote FF next time round.

Now you are straying into the area of fanciful thinking

    Factcheck.org?????????

Could there be a more misleading url?

If they were really interested in checking facts, rather than profering opinion, they would start by checking the "fact" that the emails were stolen, instead of simply stating that they were.

On that fact alone I think we can establish that relatively little fact checking goes on at factcheck.org.

Factcheck.org were used as the standard in the 2008 presidential election for checking the claims of each of the candidates. It has a lot of credibility over here. I think they were staying clear of that controversy (that the emails had been stolen) and focusing on the content of those emails.

Well, Factcheck.org are showing their pettycoat this time.

Silly me, but I would have thought "fact checking" means checking facts. Like if someone says "nefarious deniers have stolen our private emails", they would check for the evidence that:

    1. the emails were in fact stolen
    2. the emails were in fact private.

You know. Silly stuff like verifiable facts. That can be checked and stuff, like.

    Or maybe this one...

E-mails being cited as "smoking guns" have been misrepresented. For instance, one e-mail that refers to "hiding the decline" isn’t talking about a decline in actual temperatures as measured at weather stations. These have continued to rise, and 2009 may turn out to be the fifth warmest year ever recorded. The "decline" actually refers to a problem with recent data from tree rings.
When of course nobody is claiming there was intent to "hide the decline" in actual temepratures. Rather, to hide a decline a proxy temperature reconstrucction that would appear not to support the desired "message" of the IPCC.

The other supposed "checked facts" are a mix of supposition, assumption and apparent bias brought to bear on strawmen.

"factcheck.org". I fart in your general direction.

So can you explain how the emails came into their hands?
Also, how come, if not is trying to claim that there was intent to "hide the decline" how come the two major elements of the story relates to "hiding the decline" and a "trick". Of course, you use this cloak to ignore everything else that they say don't you. That is a convenient truth isn't it

Well in that case Gore is either a complete and utter fool or he knows/believes that the stupid public will believe anything that supports their new found pathetic green religion.

Who is the denier now? The green clowns will say or try anything to get you to worship their religion. If people really are buying this level of defense and lies then screw you all. You really are complete and utter idiots and you deserve everything these green loons will try to shove up your hole multiplied by a density of 5000!!

Climategate: Gore falsifies the record | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

This entire Climategate scandal has done nothing but completely remove any last iota of respect I had for the mainstream media. The mainstream media are repeaters and regurgitators. They have no minds of their own and are completely pathetic within their own existence and their contribution to humanity. They are parasites feeding off of the gravy train. Thought, investigation or skepticism are not a part of the mainstream media processes - they just want to quick fix reporting from press releases and re-writing other peoples words and ideas. This is a disaster for humanity. As a race we are controlled by lies and propoganda.

At least Climategate is helping to wake a lot of people up.
Al Gore is beyond mere details like time and temperature, or facts. He's too important for that.
