Well, Factcheck.org are showing their pettycoat this time.
Silly me, but I would have thought "fact checking" means checking facts. Like if someone says "nefarious deniers have stolen our private emails", they would check for the evidence that:
- the emails were in fact stolen
- the emails were in fact private.
You know. Silly stuff like verifiable facts. That can be checked and stuff, like.
Or maybe this one...
When of course nobody is claiming there was intent to "hide the decline" in actual temepratures. Rather, to hide a decline a proxy temperature reconstrucction that would appear not to support the desired "message" of the IPCC.
The other supposed "checked facts" are a mix of supposition, assumption and apparent bias brought to bear on strawmen.
