"This week has been truly historic. It has marked the beginning of the landslide that is collapsing the whole AGW imposture. The pseudo-science of global warming is a global laughing stock and Copenhagen is a farce."

Copenhagen climate summit: 'most important paper in the world' is a glorified UN press release – Telegraph Blogs

It's becoming more and more obvious that the western establishment may well abandon the green 'agenda' -but no doubt there will be a change in course/new tactic or problem to scare us all into paying the taxes needed to fund global 'governance' -the biggest network of bureaucracies imaginable. Nonetheless, I see that Sky News are continuing to run story after story on grounds of the supposed GW consensus -from cuddly polar bears to 'solar powered golf carts'. At Copenhagen Obama repeated how the debate is settled, time for talking is over, 'we' all agree' (do 'we' though?). It almost became a religious chant at one point as his head darted from left to right, left to right, from teleprompter to teleprompter, the same line over and over -there is 'no debate' (i.e. just do what your told) -I almost expected to see a set of green rosary beads in his hands to held him keep track of the number of times he repeated his 'message'.

So, apparently, top celebs like Arnie, Al and Obama contributed to the farce of Hopenhagen (or Groupenhagen, in terms of 'private' activities there -a stream of spacious limos arriving in Copenhagen came in useful for something then?).

What a waste of tax monies -if (when) they get the various global taxes, what black hole will they think up for it to disappear into? Agreement my bum.

Could be great? A warmer Earth might be a "not a bad thing" for the planet, not necessarily so for humans. A 'tropical' disease that is a locally minor event (through "natural" immunity) in hotter climates is likely to have a devastating impact on people from colder climates.

One point many 'forget' is that a warmer climate is a more energetic climate. More extremes of weather, more intense dry spells, rainfall, wind, etc. Not much good to have a warmer climate when the resulting weather destroys food crops or drops yields.

OMG. Larger CO2 in the atmosphere INCREASES yields. You obviously have no clue about warming or CO2 when you get this accepted fact completely and entirely wrong.

People in the most NEGATIVELY affected areas will simply have to move to new areas. Didnt you read that some parts of the desert are now becoming fertile for the first time in hundreds if not thousands of years? Humans moved around the globe to along with climate. Lets not be fooled again and again and again and again please. I am getting annoyed at how many times people are getting fooled.

Well, you ain't in agriculture of any form.
It doesn't matter how much CO2 is in the atmosphere, if there's insufficient or too much rain, dry, etc, crops will not produce to their best.
Last summer was a fair indication of what can happen, too much cloud cover slowed down plant crop growth and too much rain prevented harvesting at the best time.

Pelase read and comment on my entire post.

Add to my entire post the source:

Sahara Desert Greening Due to Climate Change?

Desertification, drought, and despair—that's what global warming has in store for much of Africa. Or so we hear.

Emerging evidence is painting a very different scenario, one in which rising temperatures could benefit millions of Africans in the driest parts of the continent.

Scientists are now seeing signals that the Sahara desert and surrounding regions are greening due to increasing rainfall.

If sustained, these rains could revitalize drought-ravaged regions, reclaiming them for farming communities.

This desert-shrinking trend is supported by climate models, which predict a return to conditions that turned the Sahara into a lush savanna some 12,000 years ago.
Sahara Desert Greening Due to Climate Change?

Phuck it, id move to the sahara if it turns into a beautiful lush landscape as the climate scientists predict , happy days as long as they have broadband.
