    Thank you Africa.

I read that they were angry at the 'undemocratic process' of the conference, and how deals were done without their input. Well, at least they are not blind and are standing up to the autocratic control from the COP (unlike our governments). Why in the world should our countries give percentages of their GDP to an unaccountable, unelected, politized, possibly incompetent and corrupt organization?

I also read that they are angry at the resistance from industrialized countries to 'pay their carbon debt'. Well, woo whooo. We don't owe them anything. If you believe the AWG crud, then go ahead and count the cattle, people, population growth in Africa, plus the deforestation.. possibly they owe us a carbon debt instead.

I also read that they were worried that the Kyoto protocol which exempts them form carbon cuts would be amended. Well, right, if we are going to suffer every one should.. why should they be exempted?

And lastly some misguided african representatives are angry that the industrialized countries are dragging their feet on hard targets for CO2 emissions. Well thank you, if there is anything good to come out of this recession will be this, people finally coming to their senses.
In any event, good news overall.

"Developed countries not cutting emissions enough". Yeah right. Not getting the cash they wanted.

The tactic is called brinkmanship. The game is called Show Me the Money.
