    This well illustrates the tyrannical arrogance of politically driven science.

    Large sections of the scientific community are now utterly discredited for selling their souls to the political left.

    They can not be trusted.

    Their views,opinions or theories are now all utterly void.

    Any confidence that might have existed in their views has been thrashed by their utter lack of scientific integrity .

    That is a disgraceful scene but typical of the attitude of the doomsayers. Democracy and Europe seem to be suffering from the divergence problem more and more each day. If that happened in Russia there would be howls from the European press about abuse of human rights, freedom of speech, totalitarianism etc..

    Scientifically illiterate?, you being scientifically literate I presume. Could you explain why the so called science propping up global warming theory has more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese?. A graph will do.

    You would have to be pretty dumb to believe that it has anything to do with science.

    Why is the anti-AGW lobby so hung up on "climategate" if they have any serious science to back up their denial? Let's have your scientific evidence please - nothing else you say is of any relevance to the subject. The extent of the climate problem can only be properly assessed by scientific analysis and any solution will be driven by science. No more distractions please.

    You are missing the point. Regardless of one's views on AGW there is a very important principle at stake;

    As Voltaire said "I do not agree with a word you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it"

    Because there is slightly more than a suggestion that the "scientific data" used to support the theory of global warming has been manipulated to make it seem more credible. There are also serious questions concerning the methods used in collecting and analysing the data that is presented to the public.
