Yeah, we can't be sure of it's validity yet. But the volume, and the internal integrity of the material so far, suggest that it would have been a very big job over 3 days. A lot of work for a hoax and that could easily be debunked.

One thing done however was to conspire to delete email with FOI in the title, which is illegal.

That defense is the most damning thing I have read yet, they are clearly genuine e-mails.

Any experimental science that works towards a desired result is not experimental science.

This is a joke, I am surprised at the openness of the fraud in the e-mails.

Disturbing stuff if it's true. The process of Peer Review would be completely undermined in the Climate Change debate. It still doesn't change the fact that we need to conserve our energy resources but if this is true, we now need to start a proper and reasoned debate, leaving dogma at the door.

I recall Eamon Ryan a few days ago on the radio rebutting questioning of AGW during the week, saying that "the science is done", and "Scientists overwhelmingly agree".

We will have to get some green types posting here to try and defend the myth. Practically everyone I know feels climate changes are quite normal, have been happening in ages past, and have nothing whatever to do with farting etc.

Of course we need to bare in mind that environmental damage does occur, even genetic damage is occuring and these aspects are manmade -but in a very deliberate and calculated way -not lazy people dumping stuff or getting ahead of themselves in the lab... whatever actual harm is being done occurs for profit -and long-term profit- and in order to control peoples.

It's too much for some people to believe that even the 'sacred', worshiped scientific elite -the high priests and priestesses of materialism- can be bought, manipulated, threatened, undermined and CONTROLLED. They're not gods, they're just sheep live the rest of us.
