    Sarkozy talks out his hole ...in the Ozone!

    I love this.

    Little man of body and mind, as well as being French president, Nicolas Sarkozy has come out with another of his intellectaul gems.
    In the same TF1 interview where Sarkozy undermined his own court case against Dominic de Villepin by isaying that 'the decision had been made to bring the guilty to court' and violating de Villepin's right to be innocent until proven guilty. Very ironic since Sarkozy's case against him is for character assination.

    Durin the same interview, TF1's Laurence Ferrari asked Sarkozy why he had taken the decision to imose a Carbon Tax in France. He replied;
    What is the situation? Scientist and scholarsfroma round the world have to together during months and months to draft a report, It's the report that is damning: the world will be lost if we continue to emit carbon that creates a hole in the Ozone
    Forgivable? Perhaps, if he had not said the same thing in July 2008.

    How can someone so ill informed have the audacity to impose a carbon tax when he clearly doesn't know what the supposed reason for it is. The thing is, Sarkozy is no fool. A spiteful, petty, angry little garden gnome perhaps, but no fool. So how could have made, and continue to make, such idiotic comments. Perhaps it's because he know that the real reason for France's carbon tax is line his buddies' pockets.

    Perhaps there is a very silly speech writer consulting for Sarkozy and Mary C, silly or very humourous

    If it were my speech writer I'd consider it an act of sabotage but the interview wasn't (in the motion picture sense of the word) scripted. I'd say he knew the questions in advance but he likes to freestyle it to get his genuine 'man of the people' routine going.
