You also must surely know temperatures are increasing. Ice does not melt unless it gets warmer so whats with the polar melting? Or are you arguing this is not man made? So where does all our CO2 go? You know what CO2 does in the atmosphere, you have a science degree. Most of what is written about denying the man made effects of GW appear to be nonsense. You cannot deny we could well be on a course to disaster with the way our consumption is threatening the ecosystem, or maybe you do. The atmosphere is just as delicate, to suggest we have no impact on it is just strange. Strange and dangerous.

    typical repsonse

i asked a simple question, where is it warmer, by how much and since when?

attacking me is not an answer, i know when ice melts, i am not 6.

Yes, indeed there is. The personal CO2 scrubber....

    Raise awareness.

Whose attacking you? I don't think you have done much research like you said, nor do I believe you have a science degree to be honest. There is something not very credible about what you say, everyone knows GW is real, the question is to what degree it is man made. Not if it is or not but to what degree. And btw, if you were a person with a science degree who researches this subject you would also know that the subject is climate change due to warming in the atmosphere, not what country is warmer and by how much. But seeing as you are not 6 and know when ice melts you know that the poles have heated up. There is a camp who vehemently deny man made climate change, your one of them, the evidence is everywhere, you sound a bit like some exxon sponsored hack, sorry but you do. Maybe you are.

Having watched "The Big Global Warming Hoax" The Great Global Warming Swindle (Complete) The Global Warming Hoax which explains how increased solar activity in the last few decades heated the oceans which in turn caused the release of millions of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. Absolutely nothing to do with the population. Of course it is the complete opposite of what Al Gore was postulating blaming everything on us "useless" eaters. It's amazing how the simple truth just washes away the mountain of lies concocted by people with nothing better to do that try to reduce world population. I can hear Prince Philip groaning right about now.

The more i read, the more I beleive that my guess is as good as anybody else's out there.

In the word of some US geezer from the Arab Wars; "It's a known unknown".

Thats about as good as it gets.

However I still beleive passionatly that polution of the air is a crap way forward. Ask anyone who has had a disabled child born in beijing in the last 10 years. A 3-fold increase in birth defect that is thought to be due to evirnmental polution.

A HATE overfishing of the seas, the "murder" of primates in Africa and the destruction of rainforests in south America.
I think I'm an environmentalist but not a ClimateChange Believer...
Michael Shermer, editor of skeptic magazine and science writer is a firm believer in manmade climate change and you don't get more skeptical than Shermer! Personally I'm keeping an open mind on the issue and see no harm with reducing polution, preserving the environment, reducing energy waste and finding green alternative sources of energy anyway. It's a kind of a win if your right and win if your wrong situation.

It's not a win-win for under developed countries who will not be able to develop the kind of infrastructure that the Western world has to get to where we are today. It's a sham desined to make the disadvantaged even more disadvantaged. It's a luxury problem for us now but lookout we will see ridiculous laws being passed in the name of the "climate" religion.

Of course if you believe that nonsense you are choosing to be ignorant or are actually ignorant, thats one of the stupidest theories I have ever heard in my life.

Would they not likely gain from starting with green technogy from the outset and learning from our mistakes?

    I was this close:

.... go giving you good rep until you invoked Lisbon. Climate delusion is integral to most of the No camp on Lisbon and this forum is environment, not about the treaty.
