as for the barrier thingys that use kenetic energy to generate power....could they harm marine wildlife if used in a manner sufficiently big to power our energy needs?

Using renewable energy to run electric cars makes them carbon neutral, if then they are carbon neutral, there is no case for carbon taxes.

My problem is that I have yet to see evidence of these cars being available in large quantities anytime soon.

Although if our energy policy were to fully embrace a fully engineered renewable grid, there would then possibly be a large enough domestic market for a possible Irish electric car manufacturer ?
